As the burgeoning Bridgman company that works with metalcasting companies worldwide continues expansion plans, they have revealed a couple of major promotions within their Professional Services department.
B&L Information Systems has promoted two veterans who specialize in ERP project implementation in the department that spearheads all of their Odyssey software training.
DJ Medlin has been promoted to Business Consultant in the Professional Services department. She has been with B&L since 2007 when she joined the company as a Support Consultant. In 2013, DJ became part of the Professional Services department where she oversees training, performs training and makes “best practice” recommendations for Odyssey software. Before joining B&L, she held various positions in metalcasting companies where she used B&L’s original ERP, BLIS, in roles including IT, scheduling, customer service, shipping, tool and inventory management.
Marcia Mullins has been promoted to Business Consultant in the Professional Services department. Marcia joined B&L in 2007 on the Customer Support Desk and became part of the Professional Services department in early 2013 where she focuses on Odyssey’s finance modules.
Prior to joining B&L, Marcia spent over 20 years in the manufacturing sector as a financial administrator where she oversaw the installation of various ERP systems, created processes, and trained accounting staff.
Kristine Craft is Vice President of Professional Services at B&L Information Systems on Rambo Road in Bridgman. She says, “These promotions align titles with the work DJ and Marcia have been doing consulting on business processes and Odyssey implementations. Each of them brings a specific expertise to the implementation process that give B&L customers the best business consulting in the metalcasting industry.” Craft adds, “Marcia’s financial talents have served our customers well since she’s extremely talented in the costing, accounting and inter-company processes. DJ was been a B&L software expert since her days as a client when she presented on core ERP functions at Spectrum, B&L’s annual users’ conference. I am proud of the work both DJ and Marcia have done with customers.”
