It’s time to redeem all of those ‘Let’s get the whole family together soon!’ conversations you have with friends and neighbors. Sunday, June 12th, spend the day at Round Barn Estate for Family Funday!
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m, this event, dedicated to those with kids and those young at heart, will feature live music in the vineyard, drink specials, and for the first time ever, the Potawatomi Zoo will bring their ‘Mini Zoo’ to Round Barn for extra special fun.
Live music will be performed from 1 pm to 5:30 pm, with Erik Donner gracing the stage for the first two hours. Erik is a “One Man Rock N Roll Band” from Chicago, and plays at Round Barn Estate almost every Sunday throughout the Summer. The Leroy Winn Trio will play from 3:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m, and will bring rock, pop, dance, and funk to this fantastic event.
The Mini Zoo will be on site from 1 p.m to 4 p.m, and will bring lots of interesting biofacts like skulls, eggs, feathers, and more. This traveling exhibit, from one of the oldest zoos in Indiana, will also have an activity table set up so everyone can join in on the fun. There may even be a few animal visitors – you will have to attend to find out!
The adult beverage special for the day will be the Funky Monkey: Red Sky Rum, Black Walnut Cream, sugar-free vanilla syrup, banana almond milk, banana pudding mix, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, and dried banana chips. A zoo of complimenting flavors!
The kids can sip on Bug Juice during the fun: Sour green apple + lemon-lime soda, garnished with a gummy bug and bendy straw.
