Firework Displays in Southwest Michigan This Weekend

Bursts of red, white, and blue sparkle throughout the sky, leaving bystanders in awe, and many of us trying to capture the magic on our phones (it’s just not the same). Fourth of July Celebrations are in abundance this weekend, and here in Southwest Michigan, you have plenty of opportunities to catch one, or all, of the fireworks displays offered by our communities. Here are a few:

Friday July 1st:
Niles – @ dusk (9:30 p.m) Apple Festival Grounds, 1740 Lake Street, $5 parking donation
Dowagiac – @ dusk, Russom Park, 28776 Yaw Street, free parking at Airport/High School/Russom

Saturday July 2nd:
New Buffalo — @ dusk, Public Beach, 100 Marquette Drive, viewing from waterfront
Cassopolis — @ 10:30 p.m, Diamond Lake (Fireworks Island)
Watervliet — @ dusk, Downtown

Sunday July 3rd:
Baroda – @ dusk, Baroda American Legion Post 345, 9214 1st Street, donations accepted
Edwardsburg — @ dusk, from Painter-Juno-Christiana Lakes, Christiana Drive
St. Joseph — @ dusk, Downtown/the Bluff
South Haven – @ dusk, Light Up The Lake, Off of North Pier, view from Riverfront Park, North & South Beaches. Broadcast begins at 7 p.m on SuperHits 103.7 COSY FM

Monday July 4th:
Berrien Springs — @ dusk, from the Berrien County Fairgrounds, 9122 U.S. HWY 31
Saugatuck — @ dusk, over the Kalamazoo River, viewing from Cook Park – Coghlin Park – Wick’s Park, parking and shuttle from Saugatuck High School
