If things had been proceeding according to the long laid plans for this week, hundreds of us would be in uniforms bearing the logo of the 2020 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, performing all sorts of volunteer duties and welcoming the world to our doorstep for one of the most prestigious golf championships in the history of the game. Unfortunately, the global pandemic has precluded that from happening, not only this week, but at all during the delayed season from the PGA of America.
Fortunately for those of us who miss the spectacular display of Champions Tour talent that arrives along our shores every other year, there’s the magic of replay.
Brent Curtis, Manager of Corporate Hospitality, who should be playing the consummate host to his sponsors this week, says that Golf Channel will share a bit of the glory we’ve seen at Harbor Shores every day from tomorrow through Sunday.
Curtis dispatched a note to his underwriters, saying, “You may not realize it, but this would have been Championship Week at Harbor Shores. I was looking forward to hosting you and your guests for the 2020 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. As the saying goes, ‘Life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans.’ And there are certainly more important things than our Championship.”
He goes on to say, “While we are not able to crown a new champion this year, we are still able to celebrate the history that has been made at Harbor Shores. To coincide with what would have been this year’s Championship Week, Golf Channel is re-airing the final rounds of the four previous Senior PGA Championships in Benton Harbor.”

- 2012 Senior PGA Championship – Final Round airs Thursday, May 21st GOLF 11:00am-1:00pm
- 2018 Senior PGA Championship – Final Round airs Friday, May 22nd GOLF 11:00am-1:00pm
- 2014 Senior PGA Championship – Final Round airs on Saturday, May 23rd GOLF 11:00am-1:30pm
- 2016 Senior PGA Championship – Final Round airs on Sunday, May 24th GOLF 11:00am-1:30pm
