Journeyman Distillery of Three Oaks encourages you to get their Spring Artisan Market onto your personal calendar so you don’t miss out.
Just about everything at Journeyman Distillery’s Spring Artisan Market is local and handcrafted—from the featured art, accessories, and gourmet goods, to the organic grain-to-bottle spirits that go into each cocktail.
Next month, 75 hand-picked vendors will fill Journeyman’s rustically refurbished event spaces for the seasonal 2-day market. Returning artisans will be joined by many participating for the first time. As Journeyman’s Event Sales Manager Linda Tschida says, “We try to keep things fresh by adding new makers each season.” She notes, “Our region is home to so many talented and creative folks, we get excited about sharing our finds with the public!”
Started in 2012, Journeyman hosts markets in both the Fall and Spring of each year. Last year’s market attracted thousands of shoppers to the historic Featherbone Corset Factory in Three Oaks.
The 2019 Spring market will feature handmade jewelry, ceramics, wearable art, health and beauty items, photography, home decor, paper goods, gourmet food, and more. The event’s layout and scale invites interaction and conversation between makers and customers—something that both say makes the experience special.
Another unique feature of Journeyman’s Artisan Market is the food and drink offerings. Cocktails, as well as small plate items, can be purchased from the convenient Warren Hall bar. House-made donuts, served fresh and topped creatively are a perennial favorite. Visitors wanting to make a day of it can review purchases over a meal at Journeyman’s Staymaker Restaurant, or even add on an educational distillery tour.
Journeyman Distillery’s Spring Artisan Market will be held on Saturday, April 6th, 10:30–7:00pm and Sunday April 7th, 10:30–5:00pm ET. All ages are welcome and admission is free.
