MOMS Club of St. Joseph Hosts Preschool Fair

On Tuesday March 8th, join the MOMS Club of St. Joseph at the First Congregational Church UCC for their Preschool Fair. This free, two hour event will host fifteen local preschools, summer camps, and kid-focused businesses, as an open house for parents and their kids, in their search for the best schools available.

Each school and organization will have a table or booth, providing handouts and/or a representative to answer questions and provide information. The Preschool Fair, which will become an annual event, helps reduce the overwhelming stress of researching schools by yourself, and offers a central location where they can all convene. Learn about Fall 2022 enrollment, Summer programs, and classes that are available for your child.

The MOMS Club of St. Joseph, which stands for Moms Offering Moms Support, began in 2003 and offers guidance, encouragement, and help to stay-at-home and working mothers alike. This group of roughly forty members is a nonprofit organization, and is made up of Moms from all communities in our area, such as Coloma, St. Joseph, Bridgman, Stevensville, Baroda, and Benton Harbor. One of over 2100 chapters of the international MOMS Club, this chapter strives to create a sense of connection and belonging, and creates lifelong friendships through  outings and playdates. Members work together to complete monthly service projects to improve their communities and build relationships in and outside of the group.

During the Preschool Fair, in the fellowship hall of the First Congregational Church UCC, located at 2001 Niles Avenue in St. Joseph, you will find schools such as Brookview Montessori, Grace Lutheran Preschool, Discovery Enrichment Head Start, Riverview Head Start, Building Blocks Preschool at Benton Harbor/St. Joseph YMCA, and many more. Business exhibitors in attendance will include Dance Arts, I Heart Spanish, Sarett Nature Center, and Curious Kids Museum, to name a few.

This event starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until Noon, and at this time, masks are required indoors. For more information about the MOMS Club, please visit their website at momsclub.org. You can find the Preschool Fair event page on Facebook.
