Seemingly everybody's favorite number gravitates toward the lucky seven. Assuming there's at least some measure of goodness attached to their seven, organizers of the 7th Annual EXPOsing Greatness business showcase are hoping for a record turnout next week when the business expo takes to the stage in southern Berrien County.
For the seventh year in a row, a collection of Michiana's best and brightest businesses will gather at Summit Church to showcase their talents, network with members of the community, and learn about the products and services offered by other local establishments. EXPOsing Greatness is slated to take place next Tuesday, September 20th from 3pm until 7pm at Summit Church, located at 1700 West River Road in Niles generously underwritten by major sponsor United Federal Credit Union.
Those who visit can enjoy free exhibitor giveaways from more than 40 different booths, raffles every hour for prizes from local businesses, great food provided by the culinary programs of area schools, and networking with entrepreneurs from Niles, Buchanan, and the Michiana area.
Ted Chase if Co-Director for the big event. He says, "The purpose of the event is to connect businesses and entrepreneurs with members of the community, increasing public engagement and showcasing a spectrum of services and markets Michiana area businesses have to offer." He adds, "We want to keep this going for years to come, there's nothing like this in our area, and it's a great platform for people to re-discover small businesses in Michiana and make the choice to shop local."
EXPOsing Greatness is free to attend, with the doors opening at 3pm to the public. Money raised booth rentals provides thousands of dollars in scholarships for students at Niles, Brandywine, and Buchanan community schools. A broad array of exhibitors will be featured at the event, with more than 40 different booths ranging from local non-profits to pet boarding. You will find the likes of Lakeland Health, Lake Michigan College, Integrity Real Estate, and Fernwood Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve among those showcasing at the expo.
