Coloma ‘Eats In the Streets’ this weekend

If you’re looking for an old-fashioned, small town weekend of activities, this weekend in Coloma might be your “ticket.”  Under the season-long banner of Summer Not Forgotten, the City of Coloma is rolling out “Eats In the Streets” in its downtown area Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Organizers hasten to add that it’s NOT a lineup of Food Trucks or out of town food vendors.  Instead, it’s an invitation to gather outdoors in specially designated areas of downtown Coloma and enjoy food and beverages from LOCAL establishments.   Pick them up at your favorite spot, then join friends and family in downtown Coloma!

Participating restaurants/businesses include: Coloma Dairy Corner, Coloma Pizza Hut, DiMaggio’s, Easy Street Inn, Eddie’s Drive In, El Asadero, The Friendly, Las Mangonadas, Loma Theater, Round Barn Filling Station, Small Town Healthies, Soulards, Subway of Coloma, and T’s Tap.   A full list will be updated on the City of Coloma’s Facebook page.

Coloma Mayor Marsha Hammond thanked local residents for their efforts this Summer, “The City of Coloma couldn’t be more grateful for the group of volunteers that have come together to put together several events in the City this summer for all to enjoy. I am so proud of our little town.”
