Dowagiac ‘Music in the Park’ Summer lineup set starting June 11

Music, food and summer evenings downtown will once again come together in Dowagiac as the city has announced the 2026 lineup for its popular Music in the Park series.

The free weekly concert series returns Thursday nights beginning June 11 and continuing through Aug. 20 at the Dowagiac Library Event Pavilion, 206 Main Street at New York Avenue.

Food trucks and vendors open at 6 p.m., with live music beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The series mixes local favorites, regional touring acts and several specialty theme nights ranging from Motown and blues to country, Americana and ‘90s hits.

Opening night on June 11 will feature the Dowagiac Union Schools Choir performing patriotic selections in recognition of America’s 250th anniversary celebration. Food vendors for the kickoff concert include Wood, Stock and Grill, Diana’s Kitchen and Stick’n Sweets.

  • June 25 — Whiskey Retreat
  • July 2 — Spin 90s
  • July 9 — JR Clark
  • July 16 — The Undertakers Blues Band
  • July 23 — Touch of Texas during the Cruise-In
  • July 30 — Skyler Vincek
  • Aug. 6 — Quite Frank Lee
  • Aug. 13 — Lauren Dukes Band
  • Aug. 20 — Out of Favor Boys

Organizers say the series continues to draw residents and visitors downtown throughout the summer while showcasing a wide range of musical styles in a family-friendly setting.

The Music in the Park series is supported by Lyons Industries, Honor Credit Union, Southwestern Michigan College and MonaCo Cleaning Services.
