On the heels of a big Chalk the Block weekend in St. Joseph, St. Joe Today and its downtown partners are gearing up for another late Summer bash that combines shopping with food & beverages and entertainment.
St. Joe Today invites the community to celebrate all things Southwest Michigan during the Love Local Weekend, August 19-21. This Love Local weekend features live music, extended shopping hours, special offers, St. Joe Farmers Market, Lake Bluff Artisan Fair and more!
Starting the weekend off with a bang, St. Joe Jack and the Good Time Co. will be performing Friday, August 19 from 7:00p-8:00p as part of the Friday Night Concert Series. And, it’s not the only musical draw for Friday evening, as various businesses host live music of their own.
While still humming the music from the night before, swing by the St. Joe Farmers Market on Saturday, August 20 which features extended hours, 9:00a-5:00p and a limited quantity of free market bags; first-come-first-serve. Continuing along Lake Bluff Park, check out the Lake Bluff Artisan Fair where over 50 vendors showcase their handcrafted goods. On Sunday, August 21, the Love Local Weekend wraps up with a free Municipal Band Concert held at the John E.N. Howard Bandshell at 7:00p.
