St. Joe City Commission Candidate Forum Wednesday on 94.9 WSJM

If you’re a St. Joseph resident and voter, you’re confronted August 3rd by the most crowded City Commission primary ballot in memory.   Nine candidates running for six slots in the November election, eventually filling three open Commission seats.

St. Joseph has never seen such a range of candidates—most  of them political newcomers—seeking to help lead the City.  How do voters figure out “who’s who” and how to cast their three primary choices on August 3rd?

WSJM hopes to simplify that process by staging a St. Joseph City Commission Candidate Forum this Wednesday night.  Starting at 5:30, the candidates will be LIVE, on-the-air and on-line… then re-broadcast and available for on-demand listening by podcast.  Tune in the City Commission Candidate Forum on 94.9 WSJM Wednesday, July 28th at 5:30,  see it on WSJM’s Facebook Live page or access it via www.WSJM.com .  5:30 to 7:00 pm Wednesday July 28.

WSJM Morning Host Jonny Rinehardt will be the moderator.  Mike Arney, who covers St. Joseph City Government for WSJM News will lead the questioners.  At least seven of the nine candidates have indicated they will participate.

News/Talk/Sports 94.9 WSJM FM, WSJM.com, and MoodyOnTheMarket.com are services of Mid-West Family Southwest Michigan.
