What Does Your Company/Organization Do?

Support the 29,000 men and women who are PGA Professionals and grow the game of golf. I operate in the Championships Department that puts on major championships: KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, PGA Championship, and Ryder Cup.

Accomplishments

Named Championship Director at the 2016 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship at the age of 27 (one of the youngest directors for PGA major championship ever). Graduate of the 2016/2017 Leadership Accelerator Program. Won the “Judges Award” at the 2017 Dancing with the Symphony Stars. – Somehow convinced Rachael Luce to marry me! 🙂

What else do you hope to accomplish by the age of 40?

Be the director for a Ryder Cup – Start a family – Start investing in real estate for the benefit of my community – Travel to 5 of the 7 continents

Education

Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oklahoma State University, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, minor in Sports Management. Top 10-percent of graduating class and top 5-percent among Spear School of Business graduates.

Best advice you ever got?

First, Rachael, second, Kevin Guzzo, and third, my team

Proud son of a wonderful woman, who happens to be gay.

What do you love to do in your downtime?

Play golf, learn woodworking, and read.

Volunteer activity you love the most.

Planning and executing the “Fest in the Southwest” with Chris Mason from Watermark and benefiting the Safe Shelter for Domestic Violence.

What motivates you to give back to your community?

Being a part of something bigger than myself, giving back to a community that has given me so much, and humble experiences that make me grateful for the small things in life.

What Superpower would you most love to have?

Read people’s minds, know what they’re thinking and how my actions/words impact them, good and bad.

What does this honor most mean to you?

That I was recommended by my peers and knowing the hard work put forth in the community is noticed. Most of all this award recognizes all the people in my life that have helped me along the way, this honor is a testament to them and their willingness to invest in me.
